Honey Bear Love Cabin Honey Bear Love Cabin Pet Friendly Cabin

Our family invites you to stay in this beautiful cabin located in the center of 3 acres. Located right on the ridge of the mountain for a very private atmosphere, it has been recently renovated and is a perfect place to unwind. Whether it be in the swing on the back deck taking in the spectacular 12 mile view down the valley, relaxing in the outside hot tub, or taking a walk throughout the 3 acres, Honey Bear Love Cabin has something for you.

Our favorite thing to do is to sit by the large fire ring and gaze at the night sky for shooting stars. The fire ring is located under the milky way! A short walk beyond the fire ring out to the scenic overlook is where you can see one of the longest and awesome views down the Gorge. This is a great place for a romantic or family picnic. Many enjoy just sitting here looking down the valley at one of the best views in the entire Red River Gorge Area. There is also a path that starts at the fire ring that leads down to the large rock shelter. During certain times of the year one can hear the waterfall off to the left and follow that path; careful though, it's about a 200 ft drop and the last step would be a long one! The rock shelter cave is a favorite! More than a few adventurous youth have slept in there with sleeping bags listening to the river run below and the wind sweep across the valley. This cave is large enough to walk around in or just sit and conjour up thoughts of Indians and wonder what the first visitors to this area thought when they saw the beauty of the area.

Within a short walk of the Honey Bear are 3 lakes for plenty of fishing and exploring.

Inside the cabin there is a folder with brochures, maps and information about the endless number of things to do in the area like hiking, canoeing, and browsing the area gift shops.

Your cabin has everything for a completely relaxing time! I stayed in mid-December and snow was on the ground. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the the huge backyard covered in snow & listening to the quiet was a perfect was for the stress to melt away! We had the fireplace going most of our visit. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen to fix our meals. It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back! Thank you!!

Sandy and Ian, I wanted to send you a quick message to tell you how much my wife and I LOVED staying at your cabin, and being able to enjoy the surrounding area! We thought that the cabin was about perfect, and when we weren't in the gorge, the lakes and roads near the cabin were wonderful to walk the dogs around. My wife and I are expecting our first baby next spring, and this was the last little vacation that we have planned before then, and it was just what we needed. I've already talked with my wife about someday taking our dogs back there with our new child, excited to show the little one the outdoors as soon as possible. I definitely hope to be in touch with you someday in the next year or two to rent out a cabin again! I hope you have a wonderful winter!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin and all the info about riding. Fonda was terrific and the horses were beautiful and gentle. She took us up a gorgeous mountain. The secluded view was wonderful. We both enjoyed your warm and inviting hot tub after the long ride in the mountains. Thank you agian for everything! 10-15-06

We just got engaged yesterday up on top of Natural Bridge. Tara thought we were going on a camping trip, but I had her fooled! After our engagement we came back here to HoneyBearLove. The place was perfect. Ian had a dozen roses waiting on the table(arranged beforehand). Nice candlelit dinner-then champagne at the fire circle. Thanks, we'll be back! 10-13-06

Your cabin was absolutely wonderful! It was decorated nicely and very well supplied. I felt like I was staying at a friends house instead of a rental. The view was great too, along with the hot tub and the fire pit. We couldn't have been happier! 9/06

"Amazing!" Everything from the cabin to the view was perfect! We are so glad that we came here for our vacation. The kids had a blast at the beach and really enjoyed the campfire. Now Ryan and I can't wait to come back w/o the kids!
